A group of islanders will fly the flag for Bermuda at the WorldPride festival in Toronto this month.
Organisers estimate that 1.5 million visitors from across the globe will attend the ten-day event, which culminates in a giant parade on June 29.
Rainbow Alliance of Bermuda, in collaboration with the Centre for Justice, the Human Rights Commission, Kinsfolk Bermuda, and Two Words and a Comma, are excited to announce Bermuda’s participation in WorldPride 2014 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, from June 20-29, culminating in the Annual Pride Parade on Sunday, June 29th, 2014.

Event organiser Valentino Tear said he’s known for putting on a good party.
Last year he held a series of gay-friendly events on the island and said the feedback was extremely good.
Tomorrow night [January 25] Mr Tear will be hosting his first event of 2014 — a Bermuda Pride party at Docksiders from 9pm until 3am.
